Stephanie Gilezan

Stephanie Gilezan is one of the leading voices in cross-border luxury real estate. Over the course of her career, she has closed more than 10,000 transactions totaling over $3 billion, working across U.S. and international markets in 22 countries.

She entered the industry in 1999, licensed at twenty-one. By 2000 she had launched her own independent firm, focused first on land development and value-add residential and commercial properties. The 2008 downturn became a defining chapter: she pivoted into distressed assets, liquidating nearly 1,600 properties for lenders and asset managers, and learned to see opportunity in markets others had written off. The work demanded more than transactional skill. It required vision, rezoning, conversion, and the willingness to do the unglamorous work of finding the highest and best use for assets in distress.

Over the next two decades, Stephanie built and led residential, commercial, and development practices across multiple firms and markets. She specialized in hospitality, industrial, multi-family, land development, and franchise real estate, with international work as a recurring thread across her career. From 2020 to 2024 she helped launch and scale a national commercial brokerage division through the COVID era, expanding operations across 22 countries and building the international footprint that informs her work today.

In 2024, Stephanie co-founded Airdomo with Charles Bornheimer to address a problem she had watched HNW buyers struggle with for years. Cross-border real estate is opaque, fragmented, and built on local relationships that do not transfer across borders. Most international buyers either rely on word-of-mouth referrals from a single market or spend years assembling advisors piecemeal. Airdomo brings concierge-grade due diligence, vetted local partners, and integrated legal, tax, and relocation advisory into a single channel for buyers, family offices, and global nomads acquiring property worldwide.

Stephanie has been recognized as one of GlobeSt's Women of Influence, a REALTOR Magazine 30 Under 30, a CoStar PowerBroker, a Crexi Platinum Broker, and a CREi Top LinkedIn Influencer. She speaks regularly at industry conferences on cross-border buying, emerging luxury markets, and the future of international property. She hosts Airdomo Beyond Borders, a video series on global lifestyle and cross-border investment. She is also an active developer and builder, leading residential and commercial projects in multiple markets.

She lives in Louisville, Kentucky, and works across all time zones.
